Lacey’s Kimono

So tonight I broke down and decided to try my hand at making Lacey (Griswold’s 27cm Obitsu doll) a kimono of her very own. I had to redraft the pattern, and I even tried some new techniques to see if it would come out a little more professional looking than I normally make things. For example, I used a double needle for the seams, and I even made the kimono sleeves correctly this time by keeping one side open (as opposed to sewing them closed, as I normally do). Needless to say, Little Ari is very jealous. I foresee a remake of her kimono in the near future….
