    Yes, the sash is very “medieval appropriate”. It probably wouldn’t be too difficult to make from scratch, though don’t you have that pattern?
    For the sleeves, I just pinned mine on so that you can get the whole effect. But yes, either a lighter blue or even a white might be more appropriate. Even just a plain sheer white sleeve with a band of the blue from the dress might be lovely, too.

  2. It looks AWESOME! I love the underskirt, I think it looks gorgeous with it and I think making sleeve white sheer inserts will look good as well, i just need another color for the sleeves(yours i think may be too dark for it which is good to know). Without a belt like yours i wonder if a sash like the one in this pattern made out of the sleeve material would look nice?
